Maruti Suzuki has officially introduced the new 2025 model of the Swift, and it’s already making waves in the Indian automobile market. The new Swift comes with a completely refreshed design, advanced features, and an upgraded powertrain that promises even better mileage than before. The 2025 Swift is powered by the new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine, which delivers 82 bhp power and 112 Nm torque. The engine now comes with mild hybrid technology, improving fuel efficiency while reducing emissions.
According to company claims, the new Swift offers an impressive 25.75 km/l mileage (manual) and around 24.8 km/l (AMT), making it one of the most fuel-efficient cars in its class. The engine is BS6 Phase-2 compliant, ensuring better performance and eco-friendliness.
Swift 2025 – Design and Exterior
The 2025 Swift gets a completely sporty and modern design. The new sleeker LED headlamps, black honeycomb front grille, and sharper bumpers give it an aggressive front look. The dual-tone color options, new diamond-cut alloy wheels, and floating roof design make it more premium than before.
At the rear, the car features C-shaped LED tail lamps and a redesigned tailgate, adding to its bold appearance.

Its starting price in India is expected to be around ₹6.49 lakh (ex-showroom), going up to ₹9.80 lakh for the top variant.
